How To Reprogram The Subconscious Mind

A belief is a thought we continue to think

Have you ever thought “what’s wrong with me? Why am I like this?” This thought usually comes when we do something we told ourselves we weren’t going to do.

So why did we do it? The answer is because we are puppets on the string of our subconscious mind. There is an illusion that we have free will, but in fact our actions are always the byproduct of our subconscious beliefs.

If, for instance, you want to lose weight and eat healthy, shouldn’t it be an easy thing to do? The fact that millions of people struggle with it, even though they know what to do, begs the question—why don’t we just eat well and exercise? This is because our subconscious belief is that we are overweight and unfit. This is a strong belief, so after ‘trying’ for a few weeks, the power of that subconscious belief leads us to robotic actions and habits which take us back to being overweight and unfit.

The answer is not to change the actions, but to change the self-image and belief. The actions will surely flow from there.

To change a belief requires you to change a thought long enough for a new belief to be created.
Decide on a change you want to make and repeat a belief that would be true if you already had that reality:

  • I am fit

  • I have a strong and healthy body

  • I eat good nutritious food

  • I love taking care of myself

Once you have convinced your subconscious this is true through repetition, your actions will slowly start to shift in accordance with this inner change.
